A Missing Ring

So there I am, happily exploring the area around Gnisis/Ald Velothi(sp?) and I encounter a woman who has dropped her ring and asks me to help find it.
Now I have been looking for this ring for a while now and it is starting to annoy me. Does the ring actually exist? Is the reward for finding actually worth the effort?

I looked too. If you kill her, another guy will attack you. He has the Amulet of Shadows. He'll be to your left if you do a 180 turn after killing the girl.

Its very hard to find, but its down there.

Ehmm, there is a guy beside the girl when you meet her, he is just very hard to spot as he has a amulet like Scion sais.

You will not get a reward when you find the ring. Instead the girl and the guy beside her will attack you. But you can say that the reward is that very cool amulet the guy is wearing if you kill him.

Thanks, I just fed up of looking for it so I killed them both on principle.
