Poll: What is your favorite spell?
Bard: Mirror Image, Stoneskin and Tenser's
These spells combined makes the bard the best fighter ever, if only for a short time.
Mage: Magic Missile and Fireball
The mage spells per definition. Amazing that a first level spell such as Magic Missile is still so effective - even kill dragons. And Fireballing never seems to get boring!
Most underrated: Spook (save vs spell at - 6 when cast by a 12th level mage or bard)
Why not first throw a Greater Malison or two for good measure? Even high level ennemies will then fail their saves.

MM- it's the king of all offensive spells, goes great in a spell sequencer.
Stoneskin-Turns my fighter mage into a impervious fighting machine(although his Thaco sucks)
Summon planetar- helps Minsc kick the butt of evil
comet- Dragon fall down go BOOOOM!!
disintegrate- that's funny R I also laugh when people get disintegrated, I wonder why?
I think it's something to do with thinking about their atoms floating to the four corners of the earth.

When the warrior is not in battle he doesn't rest. He sharpens his sword.

My favorite spell is fast becoming Time Stop. I throw one of htose out there, then follow it up with as many death and skull traps as I can, and I generally make minced-meat out of that mouse!
"Think on this, arrogant mageling: even the mightiest archmage has no spells strong enough to let him cheat death. Some take the road of lichdom... a living death. The rest of us find graves, and our dust is no grander than that of the next man. So when next you lord it over some farmer with your fireballs, remember: we all master spells enough to die"

Fer multiclassed mages, Spell Trigger be awesome!
Just try out a Spell Trigger with Stoneskin, Improved Haste an' Tenser's Transformation. Yer opponents'll be pretty surprised.
O'er great spell combo's be Shapechange an' Time Stop, an' Spell Sequencer filled with three Skull Traps.
An', o' course, nothin' can possibly be as great as three Abi Dalzims in a Chain Contingency.

I love Chain Contingency Especially with clones... And it casts so fast too, no disruption even in a thick fight.

For my sorc:
on the basis of coolness, i used shadowkeeper so i can get call lightning.
on the basis of most used, spell trigger + chain lightning = party friendly and decent damage.
on the basis of usefullness, either spell strike, breach (for evyerhting else spell strike doesn't get) and time stop.

False Dawn all the way, at least for SoA. In my opinion, one of the more effective spells, as it really hurts vampires. (There's something about watching Bodhi, and a pack of vampires running around, trying to figure what the hell just happened to them! )
For ToB, I'd have to go with Bibgy's hand. Heh... Squeeze that lfe out real good...
