Unable to go to Forest of Mir and the Mountain area

Ok, I've gone into the Saradash city and I've done all the quests in there, double checking with a couple of walk throughs. I've killed the Goromir guy.

The problem I'm having is that when I return to my planar pocket, and then leave, I'm only given four options.

Return to my place of origin.
Go to Saradash
Go to just outside of Saradash
Don't leave.

Now if I go just outside of Saradash, I'm taking to the Northern Forest. I've killed all the bad guys on this map, but didn't find anything of note besides the caravan guy. When I leave this area and the main map is showed, the only options I have is Watcher's Keep, and the Siege encampment. But the Forest of Mir and the Mountain area are shown on the map, but they aren't highlighted showing that I can go there.

Now I never fully finished Watcher's Keep, but I don't think this is involved.

If I go to the encampment, I'm faced with endless enemies and the main guy that you can't kill unless you complete other quests first.

Any idea why I can't go to the Forest of Mir and such?

I'm not really sure but maybe go to the western area of the map and try to go.

suggestion

You start off from the western edge of the map, I'll try the eastern edge though.

So strange that no one else has run into this issue before.
