Consular, Sentinel and Guardian

Post by Largo »

I am about 22hrs into the game when I decided to go back and choose consular due to you being able to use force powers alot more decisive

how come is it that you can upgrade the force powers twice every level on jolee and only once when you yourself are consular?

i thought if i chose this level i could get force powers fully used =/

Under condition that there is nothing special about Jolee (just got him myself), could it be you've gotten that impression because a high level Consular gets double force powers at 15th and 18th level (rather close) whereas a low level only get the same at level 3 and 9 (not so close)? See the chart for more info.

BTW, I hope you started out as a Scoundrel or else are willing to replay the whole game, cause that combo is amazing! I thought is rather weak at first glance, instead considering the Soldier as first class in order to boost him up a bit. Boy, am I glad I went for the Scoundrel! He easily outdoes Juhani on the battlefield, using Stasis to immobilize the enemies, then hacking them to slashes with Sneak Attack, Master Flurry and his two lightsabers (more crystals than a single saber or a doublebladed one, and why go for the better defense of Master Duelling when your enemies stand still?).

My combo in the end was the Heart of the Gaurdian, upari and Solari. Can't remember the exact bonus's, but a lot of damage.

I've got the Xbox ver. so no Heart, but the Opila is my favorite. one in each saber means an extra 4-24d on Critical Strikes. Follow with a flurry, and with master speed you inflict massive damage! I usually pair solari and upari with them, and I have gotten hits totaling in the 90's. That's on par with Malak, although he hit me for 127 once, OUCH!
