What do u think about Bards

omg.... were u bored or something last night? all these threads and stuff...

anyways bards... hate em... naver even got close to coming out of candlekeep with one of them....

I'm a bit curious... what do you think of bards?

In BG1 bards are lousy characters. In Bg2 they solved this problem by adding some nice kit's (and the higher levels help overcome some weaknesses as well)

In third edition (NWN, IWD2) bards are realy great even alone. In a party they rock!

Although being a great fan of Bards, I still have to agree with Stilgar, they are weak in BG1. I play them nonetheless, but they really can't stand alone... I would also like to add that Eldoth is one cool character!
