Question about HotU storyline (Spoiler)

Post by Mathurin »

Hey guys I have a question for you. Im about to start HotU but I no longer have my original character from the base campaign. Does it affect HotU at all? For instance I've heard rumors of a romance. Would having a character that played through the original campaign matter. Im asking because the NPC's from the original campaign seem to have no knowledge of my character and I was wondering if this would change if I imported a character rather than starting with a new one. If importing has an affect on the game I would much rather beat the original campaign and start from there. From what I get the game is starting with the idea that your main character is coming from the SoU storyline rather than the original. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
It is best to be thought a fool and stay silent, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Nope.

The single advantage to having an older game save from which to export a character to use is that at the end of Chapter 1 you get most of your inventory back. Incidentally, whether you used Deekin or not in the SoU expansion's SP campaign, he acts as if he had been along for most of that ride and wrote a book about it (and at least one of the OC NPC's also wrote her book about her adventures.)

:D
