About the part of the city where you have those two imps and the chests and various character illusions, what is the deal? I mean Drizzt needs the fragment of silver sword right? He needs his "scimitar". Well i gave each person their respective parts and then talked to the imps like they wanted me to. THey told me something was wrong still so i moved the pieces around and whatnot. So after a few times of this i became frustrated. I read the walkthrough and that didnt help one bit. What's goin on? I went already and killed the king, helping the prince (thinking of killing the prince to get that blade). How do I get those items in that locked chest? It keeps killing me or something. Thanks.
Also....when in Irenicus's Dungeon, i was looking so forward to getting Gesen Bow String but i accidentally took those Asylum tests and skipped the part! wow....dont suppose theres any way to go back. Oh well. Maybe next time thru....I sorta gave up on the Ring of Gaxx. Is it still available after coming up from Underdark? Id really like to get it. Thing is, i started my character out basic on this game. Was i supposed to import my character from Baldur's gate in order to be able to beat most characters? THis is a fun game but im confused. If someone can help me on that Sahuagin part as well as this, or just as long as i get help, i would much appreciate it. Thank you.

I think you got something mixed up there...
Drizzt does not need the fragment of the Silver Sword, you need to place the Scimitar the Imps gave to you in the chest.
The correct combinations are:
Drizzt - Scimitar
Elminster - Pipe
Khelben - Staff
Alustriel - Amulet
Piergeiron - Helm
The Ring of Gaxx is still available after exiting the Underdark, and don't worry, Kangaxx is a tough fight for everyone the first couple of times.
Searching this forum should provide you with plenty strategies beating him, it has nothing to do with character strength/weakness (importing from BG1 sure gives you a slightly easier start, but that's hardly noticable in the later parts of the game).
About Gesen's Bowstring, you could just cheat it onto you characters if that isn't a problem for you.

THanks for the help but the imps didnt give me a scimitar. I checked my inventory all over. I know Drizzt said a scimitar, or meant one just simply because i know the series and have read it. Is this is bug? Should i download the fix? Im considering it. If so, i will need to do it after i get back to school because here i dont have an internet hookup unfortunately.

Damn, Spirit Crusher is right.... my mistake
I thought the Imps give them to you, I guess it's too long I played SoA the last time
Since they are in the chests I really have no idea where that scimitar went, are you absolutly sure you don't have it ? It looks exactly like the magical scimitar Belm+2 from the Druid Grove.

The stuff:
If you just can't find the items in the chests, and wish to summon them through CLUA/Shadow keeper, the resources are below (highlight to see):
Chest Item IDs: MISC9M, MISC9N, MISC9O, MISC9P, MISC9Q
Gesen bow string: BOW19B
The imps are pretty funny, and so is their neighbor
As people have said, Kangaxx is a challenging fight - arguably the hardest in the unmodified game, so don't feel bad.
Good gaming!

Try reading the forum, it's mentioned almost constantly, and not only by me. Shadow keeper is a game editor, which you can use to edit saved games - you can adjust stats, switch classes, summon items, gold, and EXP, change your avatar, and do a million other useful & annoying things.
