Unknown World Zalbaar Bug (Spoiler)

I ve completed KOTOR a few times, so I went back to the game and played it through on the dark side quest, when I reclaimed my old title and confronted Carth, I used force persuede on Zalbaar to kill mission, he agrees to do it but the game resets back to the Lucasarts logo and start to load to the main screen.

Has anyone else encountered this bug.

yeah same thing happened to me and then when i was just wondering around tatooine after finding all the star maps it wouldnt let me go into the sand people enclave, did that happen to anybody else?
