Hmm..

Well, one plus of dwarveness (dwarfivity? whatever..) is the ability to use the Dwarven thrower which is a hammer, and an actually worthwhile ranged weapon for a cleric (single or multi-class).

I'd go fighter/cleric or fighter/thief - you could easily hack your F/T to Kensai/thief which would be a cool multiclass - use staves & (say) Katanas for some real fun 'n' games. Rogue + fighter HLAs....ouch!

Fwiw, I did an entire BG series playthrough with a LE Dwarven Fighter/Cleric.

Are you looking for a dwarven party or just a PC?
I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

Hmmm...

Don't think so, but I've never played NWN, so I don't really know. I'd think a level 40+ Sorceror, however, would be just A TAD unbalancing, especially with the stat changes in NWN.

You can't import BG2 characters into NWN, since it uses the very different 3rd Edition rules.
I'm playing a LN dwarven Fighter/Cleric currently (just started in BG1, but with BG2 engine thanks to the BG1Tutu Mod ;) ).
There are three kinds of people that no one understands: geniuses, madmen and guys that mumble.
