creating wands

is there any way to adjust the caster level on wands you create? i believe the game uses the lowest caster level possible to cast the spell for the wand. this makes wands of magic missles almost useless for a high level party (yeah, yeah....they're cheap and for a wizard might be better than a crossbow but anyway). any help would be much appreciated.

nevermind. i just tried it out and proved my theory wrong. for what it's worth, wands of magic missle are my new best friend.
