reputation and keeping Edwin

Post by Shin Jaon »

I was at Rep:19, I didn't want to lost Edwin because his complaints were worse, so I simply drink invisibility kill a woman, now I'm 9 again, I don't mind that much, I'll just buy my way to 15. Is this a stupid thing in your opinion. I mean right now Edwin is kicking way to much butt to lost him...

1) Because you get better deals from merchants with a higher rep.

2) Because you can change into the Slayer more often before incurring penalties that cause your good NPCs to leave.

Well - try this...

1) Install the happy party mod - no more reputation trouble

OR

2) Boost the PCs charisma.

Does the same thing. End of problem.
I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

You don't pay a thing. Your rep rises automatically when you perform certain quests.

2) please read the forum rules regarding spoilers :D :p

No spolilers given. It's simple arithmetic. :p ;)

Or you can just make up your mind, and make a simple omogenous party. Make a good party, with the occasional neutral member, or make an evil party, with the occasional neutral member. Or make a completely neutral party, with the occasional good, or evil member  And stop complaining o.o I mean... rp wise it makes no sens to have a fully mixed party, think a little.. what would bring such a... diversified group of people, race, profession and alignment alike? You're only thinking technicly guys... Ok.. so prices are alittle higher... so the mage you get is alittle less powerful, big deal, pump up Aerie's int if you want a powerful mage, or simply make an evil party and grab Edwin.. but remember.. play acordingly to your aligmnent.. don't grab an evil party and do good o.o Do evil hehe or vice versa.

I don't like pure evil parties, I'm experimenting with that my 4th go around. My 3rd consists of right now, Anomen, Edwin, Jan, and Minsc; my PC is an undead hunter, lawful good. I like to mix good with neutrals and I love Edwin's magic! Also the only mod I'm getting is Thief's stronghold expand, and Darkest Days, so anyways...

My party right now, and this is my second go around, Viconia, Edwin, Korgan and my PC, who's a Lawful Evil Fighter. And that's it, a party of four.

spoiler??

Don't see why you are so worried about loosing Edwin, hit him twice and: One dead Edwin, his annoying comments has to get on your nerves at some point.. I know he's the one with access to the most harmful, but Aerie can cast both cleric and mage spells so take her along instead, and then you don't have to worry about rep...
