Is *The Ice blade of monarch, the best two handed longsword, in the whole game??

Hmm, I doubt it, I once had it in my posession, but I was a mage and couldn't really use it to any good.
So I can't say for sure.

Personally, the best 2 handed sword I have had was the Cresent(sp) Blade.

I think if you could find a longsword made by the dwemer it would almost definitely be better. Is the ice blade the one that fortifies a whole bunch of stats but has one big drawback? I had it for a while but then dropped it in a dwemer ruin for some pack space

the ice blade does 40-60 pts of frost damage. it's good, but not great. i like blunt weapons and axe's personally. i love tharstens axe which gives 100% weakness to frost on target and some frost damage.
