Help - My Cleric is rubbish!

Hello - I have turned to you guys in desperation as you all seem to know what you are talking about.

My Cleric is Level 10 (I completed the game) but he finished up with only the level 0 and 1 spells that he started with. Why so?

Stats were

STR- 13
DEX -13
CON - 14
INT - 14
WIS - 17
CHA - 16

And he had 15 for Spellcraft, 9.5 Use Magical Item, 15 Concentration.

Why is he useless. Your help is appreciated.

Did you make sure to check for new spells on your cleric's spell inventory page in the character stat window?
