What is everyones favorite lightsaber color??
Took violet.
At the beginning of the game it was red, untill I found every evil NPC jedi-wannabe ran with that colour.
Then I got ahold of a few violet and it looked nice and less ordinary.
I usually gives Balista yellow, Jorlee green and Juhanri(sp?) blue swords - thus I have easy time remember what light sabre I'm meddeling with when upgrading/changing the crystals.

What do you mean. IIRC he just has a normal lightsabre.Originally posted by Ertani
i would pick violet, but darth bandon's lighsaber (which is the best lightsaber by far!!!) has a red, and if you remove it it becomes normal. message me if you want to know more about the super lightsaba!
Care to explain here?
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.
Lightsabre color
I like the violet color mostly so I didn't get my sabres mixed up when I was upgrading a crystal. I found it helpful keeping the colors in line with party members also.
Violet - was the color of my lightsabre and shortsabre
Blue-Bastila's 2 sabres
Green-Jolee's sabre
Yellow-Juhani's 2 sabres
Red-Any Dark Jedi sabres won in combat
I also liked the violet color because it matched with Davik's War Suit when I wore that armor. It looked cool together.
Cheers!

This is, as far as I'm aware, an Xbox only glitch. Under certain circumstances, the double-bladed saber you get from Bandon will supposedly inherit different modifiers from the various crystals. It's well documented in this FAQ.Originally posted by Stilgar

Saber Colour
I mostly use Blue and Green for my two sabers, mainly because Red is Cliche, Yellow I don't like, and Violet I give to the women on the team.(AND I AM NOT BEING SEXIST! It just looks better if the ladies are wearing Dark Jedi robes with Violet Sabers)

Through Serenity I gain Strength, Through Strength I gain Victory, Through Victory I achieve Peace, Through Peace I find The Force.

i chose the blue. though i want to clarify. i like the blue given to you by the special yavin crystal. almost the exact color of exar kun's lightsaber(which reminds me....what started this preposterous all darksiders use red or purple rule) which was a bright blue-white color. team it up with hsi battle-suit, and if you can't tell from my avatar, i am one happy sob.
technically violet is the apprentice color of the dark side.. or so i've heard
The Dark jedi code/Sith code
There is no fear, there is power.
There is no death, there is immortality.
There is no weakness, there is the Dark Side.
I am the Heart of Darkness.
I know no fear,
But rather I instill it in my enemies.
I am the destoyer of worlds.
I know the power of the Dark Side.
I am the fire of hate.
All the Universe bows before me.
I pledge myself to the Darkness.
For I have found true life,
In the death of the light.

let us be straight about this. there is no set color code adhered to by any certain caste or class of jedi. dark jedi are more likely to use red for certain reasons. ah hell, i'll copy the section dealing with crystals out to the star wars encyclopedia.
however one of the most evil sith lords in existence used a bright blue/white blade. much like the one you buy from suvan on the yavin spacestation.
In the lightsabers of the Jedi Knights, these crystals were found in nature, a task which required the Jedi to focus their concentration on selecting a stone which would focus the energy and not explode. Early Jedi obtained crystals from the planet Ruusan, but the deposits on the planet were destroyed during the Battle of Ruusan. More often than not, the Jedi Knights of the Old Republic used crystals from the planet Ilum, which emitted blue or green blades. The Sith, however, used synthetic crystals formed in incredibly hot ovens, using their emotional control of the Force to assist in the formation of the stone. These Sith crystals generated a red blade which had the unusual strength to cleave a normal lightsaber blade in two. Jedi Knights of the New Republic era did not know of the Ilum deposits, and so many of them discovered other sources of crystals which produced a wide variety of blade colors.
