Corprus

Post by *18Azrael81* »

ANother one of my posts i asked about vampire stat perks. I think I was mistaken in some of the things I believe, and wanted to make sure. So I'm wondering, does corprus enhace your attributes? I know someone who WAS infected with the aforementioned disease, and now has a strength of 500(pts, not pounds) and evidently some other enhanced attributes. Did they come from Corprus?

They might. Corprus causes some attributes to go down and others to go up. Next time you play try sleeping or resting after you get the corprus and watch what it does to your stats. I'm pretty sure strength and endurance go up while a couple others go down. The longer it takes you to find the cure (i.e. resting and sleeping) the more these attributes are affected. The ones that go down can be fixed easily with Restore spells or potions (or a trip to an Imperial Cult shrine). The ones that go up will stay up after you are cured of corprus but can be reduced down to the base attribute number by drain attribute spells (like those cast by bonewalkers and bonelords). In that case you will only be able to restore those attributes back to where they were before the corprus. For example: if your strength was 80 when you got the corprus and you wasted a few days getting the cure your strength may have gone up to 84 or 86 points. You get cured and your strength stays at that heightened level. You get in a fight with a mage later who damages your strength down to 78 points. When you restore your strength it will only go back up to 80, not the 84 or 86 points that the corprus gave you.
