Unknown world problems (spoilers)

Post by fable »

I killed the One and his people, then freed the Elder, who thanked me and said he'd relay this back to the Elder Settlement, where I should go. However, when I went there, there wasn't an Elder in sight, and (as usual) all possible access was barred by electrical fields. Any ideas what I need to do to get around this, or is it a bug?

Yes, I am a cat that can type, but it does take me a long time.

Had you visited the Elder settlement and gotten the quest to rescue the Elder prisoner beforehand, or did you just kill the One and his cohort straightoff? Were you contacted by the Elders as you approached the electrical field (as normal)?

The problem apparently lay in the way the electrical field was shown. Sometimes, it was nearly invisible, and sparked in several directions without making a full circuit. From previous experience, I figured that even if the circuit wasn't showing, it was there; but that wasn't the case in one area. Thanks, in any case. :)
