Any suggestions as to how to beat him? My party conists of me (kensai), sarevok, korgan, amomen, imoen and jan.

easy use the spell that comes with daystar he dies after its over and all thats left is his minions but just barely

I just rushed at him with my three fighters (Me (F/M), Sarevok and Korgan). Because several enemies focused on Korgan, I had to pull him out after a few rounds to drink a couple healing potions and then jump back in. My other three (Viconia, Imoen and Edwin) dealt with the other minions via spells and summoned creatures.

holy smite seemed to be pretty effective in clearing out the weaker undead, and allowing the rest of the party to focus on the real threats.

I was not as lucky because only 2 of my fighters were over there and they were surprised by it too.
But here what I did. Me(fighter),Sarevok and minsc immidiatly rushed in, I had Imoen cast that triger spelled that was memorized it had
(Stoneskin,remove fear and haste). So all my fighters were hastened. So then I just layeth the ass kiketh uponeth monstereth. Look out for the level drain though its annoying. Make sure to take out the stronger ones first.
