People in town want me dead!

I must have done something wrong. The people in town are trying to fight my party. How do I get back good with them?

Me too. Last thing that I did before being hated was go into the "locked level" of the temple. At a loss myself because I was retracing some unfinished business before I went to face to final boss.

Do you have an "evil" NPC in your party like Scorpp or the Troll King? The townspeople might not take kindly to that, but I don't know for sure. Have you earned any really bad reputations in town? Also, which town? If it is Hommlet, I found that giving a bunch of money to both Jaroo and the church of St. Cuthbert can somewhat negate a negative reputation in town.
