Simple Question

Post by *18Azrael81* »

This is something i should have clarified earlier, but oh well. On the XBOX version of Morrowind, you get a paper map with the game, on this map are many small "x"s, most of them in water or coastal. I know that there are the 7 shrine quests, most of which are marked with the 'x', but there are still many others i dont know what they're for. Please explain.

The "x"s on the paper map indicate the location of some(not all) shipwrecks in the game. Usually if its marked on the map, there probably isnt anything really good inb them, its the unmarked shipwrecks that have the good stuff.
If at first you don't succeed, reload and try again.

Three of the "X's" also mark the future locations of where the three great house strongholds will eventually be built (Bal Isra, Odai Plateau and Uvirith's Grave). One other X marks the site of a sunken shrine.
