For what it's worth, the board's just as slow, today. Just passing that along--though I suspect you know it already, Buck.

Well, we've identified the problem. It seems our network interface is configured for a 10 Mbps/half duplex connection and we're seeing a LOT of collisions. Upgrading to 100 Mbps/full duplex is fairly expensive, but I'm currently in negotiations to do so. Our hosting provider has switched us over to 100 Mbps/full duplex temporarily to show the difference, which is why you may have seen a serious increase in performance over the last few days. I'll keep everyone posted.
