Open up your spellbook, as in the memorization page and select the click the number on the book that relates to which level of spell you have in mind, then after doing this RIGHT CLICK on the spell you wish to delete, then select "remove" or something similar.
Alternatively you could consider using a potion of genius (sets int to 25) and learn the spells you want that way before the potion wears off.
The number of spells you can learn per level is dependant on INT stat.

I don't recomend because if you put 3 of INT you will not be able to cast spell from scrolls so you cant put nine lvl scrolls or ADHW and cast protect image or simulcarum and let your clone use it for you.You need at least 9 of int to use scrolls.........also you need both INT and WIS for wish in ToB I think.....

9 int to use scrolls, 9 int = minimum for a mage class. I think its the same with sorcs being a mage class.
Limited wish isnt a problem, you can just get a cleric or druid to talk to the genie before it initates dialog, im not sure if you can do the same with wish though... hmm, never liked the spell much anyway.

LOL LOL LOL... when you get Wish that doesn't work anymore... so I can just imagine the options...
1. Temporarily remove half the caster's HP
2. Bring a meteor swarm down on the caster
3. Cast Horrid Wiliting on everyone in the area. INcluding party members.
4. Make the entire party become intoxicated
5. Make the entire party lose all there spells...

You are correct: The minimum Intelligence required to read scrolls is 9, and Sorcerors, like Mages, have a minimum Intelligence of 9 when you roll them up. Therefore, all of them should be able to read scrolls unless they lose Intelligence points somewhere along the line.Originally posted by Galmar

BTW, Sorcerors aren't really a Mage class, but they are indeed similar to Mages in many respects. The character creation screen claims that Intelligence is the primary attribute for a Sorcerer, but there's really not much practical difference between a 9 and an 18, cheese aside.
I'd like to point out that the ability to read scrolls (or lack thereof) can affect all of the character classes, not just Mages and Sorcerors. For example, there are also Priest scrolls in the game as well as scrolls that can be read by any class, such as Protection Scrolls. Characters who have less than Intelligence 9 cannot read them, and that can be rather inconvenient.

Of course, you can always use potions of genius or mind focusing to temporarily boost your intellegence. That can be a tad inconvenient if you use a lot of scrolls, but if you only use them for particular tactical purposes (e.g. Protection from Undead) it isn't too much extra trouble.
