End Of Game

Post by *18Azrael81* »

I was wandering around doing things other than the main quest, and I happened to stumble on the ruin where you find Keening, half of the pair (keening and sunder) i did this fairly early in the main quest, and i picked up the weapon. I knew not to equip it without wraithguard, but I'm wondering if it is ok to get this weapon early in the game, or will it screw up the storyline later?

No problems while you're not equiping them (dead man cannot proceed). There're hints in the game what may make you guess rather not to try them, too.
Just keep them safe until you need them.

Sunder is in the Red Mountain area. I don't want to spoil anything so have fun finding it. Oh its an enchanted hammer.

Unless you've been directed to find it as part of a quest you will not be able to do anything with it once you've found it. Besides Red Mountain is fun to explore and loot and you will want to go into every daedric shrine, dwemer ruin, cave and tomb anyway. Do all the Temple quests for Ghostgate. Many require you to find various places on Red Mountain and retrieve sacred items. You will probably stumble on it this way before getting the quest. Hint: Once you've found it, save the game, and then equip it to experience all of its wonders.
