The underdark (BIG problem)

Well..i had done everything i could, and was about to go down to that silver dragon..but, wtf? i dont have the "light GEM" anymore...i have went alle around, looking for it, but cant find it..the only place i havnt checked, is in the mindflayer area (the place where you wait for your battls)..the doors are locked, and i can see there is somthing lying in there..dont know if that is the gem, but it probably is..how do i get in there ? and if its not the gem, is it just a bug ? HELP! i cant continue in my game..HELP HELP HELP!

You cannot go back into that area.

The CLUA code for the light gem is MISC9R

Go into baldur.ini, and under program options make a new line saying:

Debug Mode = 1

now reload BG2 and press ctrl+space in game.

type in
CLUAconsole:CreateItem("MISC9R") and the light gem should appear in someones inventory.

it is case sensitive...

type it in exactly the way shown....

urm....sorry...

fraid mini made a typo...

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("misc9r")

anything in the quotes is not case sensative, everything outside the quotes is case sensative...

ah ! it worked now ! thx ppl ! i was realy terrified...i f i had got to start all over the game..i dont know what i would have done...are you guys @ irc ?

I dont know, starting again is the thing i do best. year before last i think i restarted maybe 20 times cause viruses and i did not remember to back up before formatting over and over again.

Was under 98

i have only finished the game once.

actually it is a miracle that i actually finished the game.
