Lost Souls
Yeah. I think this lucky break deserves some sort of karmic balance sometime down the road.
Lost Souls: A bereft lover. A masterless familiar. Friends gone their separate ways. Time marches on, and destiny heralds the meeting of comrades old and new. Can they find what they're seeking? Or will the search bring them only more pain?
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I plan to post today. I think I've made my character too mysterious and am unsure of where I'm going with him, but I think I'll try to add some action to the story.
Lost Souls - The Search for Magus
Sorry if my post upset any plans but I thought Gidim has had too much good luck lately, and it doesn't fit his character. And since the story has lagged a bit I thought this might help some action Enjoy

No problem. Actually, this situation is eerily similar to something I had been considering. I might just take this chance to implement what I had in mind.

I should have some time today to post as well. I finally got my computer fixed.

Well, there's my HUGE post. Hope you guys like it, because it took a damn long time to write.

So you guys know, I made a slip-up in writing the part with the undead and the black-robed lich in my original post. It's fixed now, but anyone who read it before my last edit should go back and reread that part. I had to make some significant changes so things would make sense again.

@Rob-hin: Glad you liked it. What part made you smile, by chance?
Also, you might already know this, but I just want to make it clear since it wasn't evident in your post. When the undead attack, about 10-12 hours have passed since Yolta was released.
Coward. I seriously considered blocking Yolta's teleportation attempt...but as amusing as watching defenseless Yolta scramble away from undead like a frightened mouse, smacking them over the head with his non-functional staff would be...it wouldn't add much to the story. Do know, however, that you've just thrown a wrench in my plans (which ultimately throws a wrench in yours as well). I leave it to you to find a way to compensate when the time comes...

Magus, I liked the show. Not one part of it, but the way you wrote it overall. Very nice.
I forgot about the time leap between being freed and the arrival of the undead, so Yolta left several hours before this happend and he is not yet awair of what is happening. Perhaps he'll be back to help, but he'll be much weaker then normal since he didn't had a proper rest and his items aren't fixed yet.
PS. Yolta wasn't the one who did the teleporting, it was his friend.

Guinness is good for you.
Gives you strength.
Gives you strength.
@Rob-hin: One nitpick deserves another, eh? Thanks. I enjoy writing these little events with Aerie. I feel her personality's coming out more in this story than any of the previous Athkatla's.
@Xandax: Stern, stoic Xandax...it may be a bit egotistical, but I'm always intrigued to see Aerie, Void, and Magus through his eyes.

I just made a long post, but I hope its insightful. I'm interested to see how all of you react to it

Sorry about that. I'll post as soon as I have the time. If I knew it wouldn't take long I'd just go ahead and do it, but my posts have been rather long lately, so I need to wait until I can set aside the necessary several hours. I know we've been moving rather slow as of late, but that's the best I can do at the moment. I hope you guys understand.
