Wand of Wonder

Post by Sir Percy »

I've got this funny-looking wand which I must have found at the temple ruins (or somewhere).

What does it do, precisely, if that isn't a dumb question?

Just try fighting somebody REALLY powerful with it, and watch the Wand of Wonder show its true nature.... :D :D :D

NAH, that would be too evil. The wand actually performs a random effect, ranging from Petrification to Fireball to Stoneskin... Sorry if I mislead you...

:D :D :D :D

Is there a resource anybody is aware of which lists the exact spell effects available, the chances of each, and if/how they are modified by (for example) caster's INT/WIS etc..?

Failing that, I might have to do some testing, I guess........

There is a fairly new thread about the "Best/Worst effects of the Wand of wonder". I'll try to find it and bump it up.

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Does anyone know why the stores buy the wand for 15K and then turn around and sell it for less than 5 grand?
