I'm having problems with opening a chest on level 2 in the dungeon.
The chest is in the room were Bassinio and the Fire salamanders are. I've killed all the enemies. But I can't open the chest!
Is there a key somewere? do I need better lockpicking skill?
(My best caracher has 12.5)
Pleas help me I wan't the Frostbrand sword.
When your PC tries to open the case, bring upt he feedback screen and you will see the result.
It will tell you the DC you need and what your max lockpick skill is..
you might need to raise it, or boost it with stat boosters, or magic spells

IIRC, Bassinio has a key for the chest on his corpse.
Your best lockpicking skill is 12.5? What level are your characters (namely, your best lock-picker)?

What you want to try is one of two things..get a knock scroll (this will work regardless, at least it should)
Also try casting Good Hope and cat's grace on your lock picker (for a total bonus of +4 to the LP skill..or put gloves of dexterity on the Picker with Good hope for a total of +5)
