Where can i find Knock spell?

Post by Julian »

I'm in chapter 3 now and dumped Imoen in favor of Kivan. I have the lady I rescued from the gnolls, but i can't find the 2nd level spell knock that I really need to open all the locked stuff now that I don't have a thief anymore. A store,a chest or even a monster that has it is good enough, just tell me where i can find a scroll with knock on it!!

All help is appriciated

Try Highhedge if you havent already. Else you could just edit it in. But i recommand having a thief in your party, for locks, but also for traps. And a good backstab now and then is usefull to.
Try Coran, he's a sort of Kivan and Imoen in one.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

You rescued Dynaheir from the Gnolls right, so you have Minsc also ? He has pretty good STR and he can break the locks.
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

I don't think Thalantyr (in the High Hedge) sells them. The only one I know of is on the bottom floor of the Cloakwood Mines. I think Sorcerous Sundries sells them as well, but both of these are inaccessible until Chapter 4 or later. There may be one available as a random treasure, but I don't think I've ever seen one.

I agree with Stilgar, you pretty much need a thief in your party, unless you are soloing, in which case you need to be prepared to make some sacrifices for the sake of Art. ;)
