POR, wheres the enemies!???

Post by origin »

been playing for a while and wondered if someone knows why I seem to after a few battles 'clear' an area,...no more enemies show up, the area turns green, and I can camp. Is this normal game behavior?? I dont like this as I like to battle monsters and build up my characters Alot!

There are no random encounters. If you clear an area with enemies, they're dead. That's normal game behavior.

Random encounters are kinda good and kinda bad. One thing about random encounters is that it can unbalance the game. In baldur's Gate, you can spend the first bit of the game just fighting random encounters 'till you're level 7, and then breeze through the whole game. Takes a while, but it can be done.

One thing I like about not-random encounters is it's a bit more realistic: once you kill everything, they're gone. I just find it strange how more creatures just spawn in some secluded cave. In forests, that makes sense, but in some secluded cave that has a door or something? very odd.
