Bastila a lost cause?
Hey,
I've gotten to the part on the Star Forge where you face Bastila. The fight proves to be fairly easy, save one dilemma. I can't for the life of me get her to turn back to the light side. I've consulted the walk through on this site, as well as tried every other combonation of dialogue I could, to no avail. Anyone else have any similiar problems??

Tekk, please label posts like these as "spoilers." In fact, the thread title itself will need changing, so as not to give away plot mechanics of the game. I'll change this one for you.
As for your question: you should have an opportunity in conversation to tell Bastila that you simply can't kill her. That's a very important choice. Whenever possible, always play the martyr in this dialog with her. Even though, of course, you give up almost immediately on swaying her boss, whom you drove to the Dark Side.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
