expansion pack question

Post by SubTerran »

if there is an expansion pack, I am sure that new levels will be added for characters to advance to, but what happens to druids, since Bioware's explanation for druid beiung caped at level 14 cuz at level 15 they become so powerfull that it would unbalance the game, so I am just wondering if they will change the 3d edition rules to make druids less powerfull

2nd edition rules, and yes, the don't seem to be beyond changing rules when it suits them. Druids are great when it comes to spells, but they should realize by now that classes such as Barbarians, Kensai/Mages, Monks, etc. are better at the end of the game. Even if they gave us more classes to duel to from the Druid (besides fighter), it would be worth it.

Now I have a question concerning druids in this game (mainly because I haven't played one yet as a main character). Do they stop going up in levels after 14, or do you have to challenge for the druid grove at 14 before you can advance.

In PnP, after druids reach a certain level, they have to challenge a higher level druid before they can advance. A druidic sect is supposed to only have so many druids of certain levels.

Krom: I remember playing a druid in PnP, but I never got that high. Do druids have to keep killing off people to advance in levels (i.e. challenge a level 15 to advance to 15?). Bioware/Interplay could do this.
