Need help inputting cheats

OK. I've played the entire game many times through without codes and now I think its time for cheating, but I'm retarded when it comes to computers so if some nice people could guide me through in how to do this I will be extremely happy and grateful. Oh, and I have microsoft word, if that's even what you have to use??

Im new to GameBanshee and didnt see a cheat list link.

Come back and ask if you have a question. You will have to edit your swkotor.ini with some text editor. Its not to hard just take your time.

Yeah, i lpayed it over 5-6 times so i want some extra fun, now.
I checked that site, but i did press ' but nothing happened..
I went over and did that thing they said, is there any other way?
i have the orginal version..
