question about romance and set traps skill

Post by kareas »

1-is thief's set traps skill affects the damage?(higher set traps more dmg?) if not why would i train that skill?
2-second question is about romance
i removed aerie from group for really short time but when she comes back she never talked with my char again. i think our romance is finished is it any way to start it again?(i could cheat for it too)

Do Not remove your romance from your party, and do not let them get 'flesh to stone'. The romance will be over.

bout the thief, I think one of the xperts shall tell you, but they're still hiding in the shadows.
Flesh to stone ain't permanent, it seems.

I don't think you can get your romance back, there might be a code but I don't know. At what point in the romance were you?

As for the traps, experience dosen't effect the damage, the only reason you have to put a decent ammount of points into set trap is so that they will not fail. 100 is more then enough.

Acctualy you can get it back, but it's gonna take time. Once you get Aerie again, you just have to go to your Global Variables on the Shadow Keeper, and set it to 2 since 1 is for flirting 2 is for serious relationship. The dialogues should, i repeat, should reset, and you'll get another chance ^^

Don't put it on 3 because that means it's over.

traps

As to the traps, if you have a very low skill, like 0 - 25, you will most likely hurt yourself when trying to set a trap, doing decent damage to yourself even with a simple trap (no good). It's best to wait until you have at least 50% before trying to set traps. At this point, you will most likely fail a few and set a few, but without hurting yourself. I buff it up to 100 right away, then it always succeeds and I don't have to save and reload all the time.

PS - the special traps of a bounty-hunter (Yoshimo), can be set at a distance, so you can set them 'towards' a monster out of sight, and it will immediately get discharged, damaging them right away
