Slaying Demon Knights and another Question

Post by Silverblade »

I can't beat the Demon Knights in the Kuo Toa Lair to get the Girdle of Giant Strengh. Can anybody help me? Also does anybody know if I can get back into Underdark after I leave it?

Once you leave the Underdark through the Elven camp, you're out for good. No going back, so get your stuff while you can.

As far as the demon knights go, what's your party composition and levels? Are you equipped with at least +2 weapons on your characters?

Yes, once you leave the Underdark you are OUT for good.
Remenber the best stuff in the game is on the Underdark, try to equip the armor and weapons you fond after you kill some drows.
Don´t forget to sell that stuff that turn to dust before going out, thy don´t give a good price for it but beats Nothing.

I'm sure Weasel. When did you go back? Had you left the map the Elven Camp was on and then went back? If so, how? Once you leave that board it is closed off for good, at least it was for me.

I went back after killing Bodhi in the crypts. @ flinfman do you mean you can't type in the box on the profile screen or that your signature won't show up when you post?

I have Minsc,Mazzy,Imoen,Keldorn,Jaheira and my character who is a Mage. All have +2 or greater weapons but I still haven't beaten them and I've tried shapeshifting into a slayer but I died before I could kill them all. Got any other ideas? Or should I just wade in and hope I kill it?

IMHO Cast all your protection spells .Then let Keldorn gate in the demon knightes, once he appears send in Mazzy and Minsc too help him. Have Jahiera summon some help and be perpared to heal. You and Imoen should be casting magic missles. When one of the front line fighters gets hurt too much ,pull him/her back and heal'em. By protection spells i mean the ones you have memorized.Plus haste.

Any fool can type in something in a box, Weasel, but thank you for asking Image. Just kidding. No, my signiture won't show up when I put it in there. Is there something I'm doing wrong there or not doing?

This might sound stupid but when you post look down at the options.Click in show signature. A lot of people don't look there. Yes sometimes my comprehsion is not that good. I try to read every thing twice to make sure.

Silverblade, explore the room and exit it. Summon in some creatures and have one of the summoned creatures go to the alter. The demon knights will appear, but they will see no one around and you can go back into the room slowly and draw them out one at a time. That way they're easier on your health. I beat them the first time almost solely with distance weapons as they chased after my main character.
