Dark/Light Side Differences Throughout Game (SPOILERS)

Post by Kolmar »

I apologize if there have been threads on this before, I assumed there might have been but could not find any, so I started one.

Basically I've finished the game being Light Side all the way through, and am wondering what the actual differences are throughout the game in terms of what your alignment is? So far I've just found vague references to 'NPCs will react differently to you', and I know there is a substantial difference in the ending. Is there any real affect throughout the game from your alignment other than the different powers, or does it not make a great deal of difference until the end?

Cheers for any help.

It's not so much NPC reactions that matter, it's the fact that as a darksider you'll be handling all those quests differently. Being one alignment or the other doesn't change the game, but playing that alignment does.

Though, it would've been nice if some of the force sensitive Jedi caught on

Or, like, any of the people with functioning eyes.

You handle quest different,
you wont gain more experience (well a little but nothing notecible) since you cant force attack inocents or neutrals like in the BG series. But you get MUCH more money playing DarkSide.
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.
