If you can't win swoop races try the following:

...reduce the graphics-settings !

your bike will get much more maneuverable...

...and you will be up to 4 seconds faster this way !!!!

AND remember the accelerating pads on the course... i thought they were obstacles, and steered clear of them - was about 50% slower than then opponents

@ blackadder: you should try to avoid only the obstacles

but back to the point: even if the the "real"-game runs absolut smoothly - it seems that it gets really (or just is to) slow for the fast mini-games.

With lowered graphic-settings the game reacts much faster...

...and the mini-games are much easier !

...and I always thought I was just to old/stupid to win those damned mini-games...

...but with lowered setting even me was able to win a swoop races without to much problems !!!!
