most promising of this bug is that it at least will not contain any spoilers.. because it happens before you can actually grab hold of your character: after having created an avator (thats my character right?) i wanted to go on a quick and easy solo, so i selected human and then monk (any other race isnt possible anyway) strength 18 dex nd con as well, only when i go to start the game, the first spell already kills me happens when i get the message the pain is passing u should survive te process by then my character has already been slain.. this makes the solo actually quite difficult to beat anybody had this before ? quite frustrating actually since i cannot get underway anyway mayb somebody else has also encountered this on on its reruns ... any comments would be greatly appreciated
If i recall he says that "the pain will only be passing, you should survive the process" line, then he casts a spell on you that does 1 damage i think, screen goes black.. Followed by the "Do you even realise your potential".
I can only think of a few thigns that could be causign you problems,
#1 Your video card is unsupported, and the black fading is screwing it up.
#2 Somehow your HP has been set to 0 or 1 (maybe youve messed around in Shadowkeeper or imported a char which was saved with low HP or during one of the transformations)
#3 Somehow that spell file he uses has got messed up due to a mod or something being installed.
hmm i woulndt think its my videocard since the pc is quite new only have it for bout a month and didnt have any problems other 2 times around, as far as mods are concerned barely have a clue as to where to download em :S and i havent messed around in SK concerning this character or any other major modifications in the game anyway.... so mayb somebody else has seen it before ? thanx
