Windspear Hills are 'greyed out'?

Post by Randyt »

I cannot get to the Windspear Hills. The place is on my map but it is 'greyed out' and I cannot click on it.

Anyone know what the heck I did wrong?

Goto the city gate area and exit the map to the north east - that lets you walk to windspear.

Go to Trademeet and leave from each side. It should show up then.

@Chrissy : places outside the city can only being accessed if you get the quest relating to the place. I.e: Nalias Castle, windspear hills etc.
i think the problem Randyt encounter is because he played this for the first time. And for the first time to travel outside the city you are require to go from the city gates. Next time when you need to go to places outside the city you can simply click it from the map, even you are exiting from Copper Coronet.

I had already completed the D'arnise keep quests (yes I left the city).

I went back to the Slums, talked to Firkraag, he told me to go to the Windspear Hills. I did not do it right away (I finished the Renal Bloodscalp/Me'var quests). I went to Trademeet/Druid Grove to finish all initial quests there, THEN Windspear Hills are greyed out.

Do you HAVE to go to the Hills right after talking to Firkraag at the Copper Coronet?

Weasel's right. Try going to Trademeet first. I think that's what fixed it for me.

The reason I asked if you'd been outside the city was because I figured you hadn't visited the gate yet.
But now that Weasel and magusg say makes sence. I remember something like that too.
