The good old days

Post by Moonbiter »

Hi! New to the site, though I've been lurking for ages. Really a good one, this place. I sort of wondered if there was any plans to open up a forum for the Golden Oldies? You know, Might & Magic, The Summoning, Ultima/Underworld, Eye of The Beholder, Wizardry etc. What do you think? :)

I think the Games Discussion forum would be suitable for such games.
I doubt there is much discussion going on that would requiere specific foras for such games.

IMO anyway :)

Hmmmm, well, I'll try there. The reason I mentioned this is because I bought a pack of old RPGs juiced up to run under Windows XP, and I'm totally in awe of how involving and well thought out they are. The memories! :D

I think Xan's right, and knowing those games, it would be fun to discuss 'em, once again. :)

Well - try searching for online software shops, and see if they have them. Otherwise you can't find them legally on the net.

Most however will be privately owned, and selling them - also I doubt you will find a windows XP compatible version of games from early 90's (or how old they are). You will have to run them in DOS mode and likely slowdown your CPU also.
