I`m in Trademeet and I have Jaheira in my party. I want to do the druids quest but I don`t really have room for Cernd in my party. Is it true that a druid has to be level 14 or higher to challenge for leadership? Jaheira is only level 12. Can I do anything without Cernd in my party? Or would it be more beneficial to take Cernd in for the time being?
Cheers

A druid of any level can challenge the evil druid for that particular quest. However, the quest to specifically "challenge for leadership" is limited to your PC, alone, provided they're a druid.

One good way to deal with her is to use a summons spell. Typically, she'll use one, too, but if you get yours off quickly, you can then instruct Cernd (assuming you use him) to switch forms at that point. Typically, I have both the summoned creature *and* Cernd beat on Faldorn. The summoned creature's death is a foregone conclusion, and I want the damage to accumulate on Faldorn before hers does on Cernd.
