Samava

I`m in the crypt and I`ve killed just about everything except Samava, a dancing vampire. I just can`t touch her. I have minsc, aerie, jaheira, yoshimo, keldorn and me (Fighter). I have that sword with the sunbolt on it and nothing works against this character.
I`m desperate and can someone tell me what the Clua code is to kill something? Cos I think I`ll be here forever trying to get rid of that cow!
I`ve been through this game 3 times before and never had this sort of problem. I`ve even tried the easiest setting and I just can`t touch her. She walks through yoshima`s traps as though they don`t exist.

Isn't her name Tanova ? I don't remember any vampire named Samava ....
If I'm not mistaken she gets lots of protections up (like spell turning, stoneskin and spell trap) as well as casting mislead, so you should either wait until her protections wear off or dispel them before casting spells on her.

Sunburst had no effect on her atall. However, it killed Keldorn! Another time it turned my character red.
Absolutely nothing was working. She had one of those bubbles on her and I couldn`t hurt her.
In the end, I got my party to run round and round and she followed them everywhere. Then I turned on her and she fell withing a minute. It was really weird. It must have been a bug or something.
Another strange thing happened. I`m romancing Jaheira and she`s at the point where Dermin supposed to turn up. I got fed up waiting for him and while we were in the crypt, Jaheira said `Dermin, is that you?` and there was nobody there!
I think I`ll go to bed (that`s me, not Jaheira)!

As I said, probably her spell protections soaked the sunray up, once her protections are gone she isn't harde than any other vampire

If I remember the fight correctly, it should be manageable if you make sure to protect from charm and have keldorn's true sight up to get rid of mislead (and mirror image?). After that a standard breach and hack strategy should work.

If your debug mode is on, you can ctrl-y to kill directly.

well, if you're really that desperate to kill her, just use the ol' Ctrl + Y when your cursor's on top of her. It's a dumb way to go cause it ruins the challenge, but hey, if it bothers you that much.

Also note that you don't get experience for killing things with ctrl+y (but you don't lose reputation either when killing innocents this way

) because technically the game kills them, not you

That's true ^^ Really nifty little cheat. I use it with those annoying guards "In the name of the council i am here to keep order!" Boom, Ctrl+Y-ed his whiny metalic butt
