Gith Amulet Not Appearing (SPOILER)

Post by Balinor »

I have read (on this site) about a decent amulet that is supposed to fall from the Giths that you have to kill for the Hidden in Jan's quest. I went to the Giths, killed them both, but I didn't find any amulet at all. This is the first character that I have played through with Jan, so it is the first time I have attempted his quest. If someone could either give a suggestion or an answer or the CLUA item code for the amulet, that would be great. Thanks.

Hmmm...

I think that may only drop in tactics mod. Greenstone amulet , AMUL17, and yes, it's pretty nice.
I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

No, it only dropped in early versions of SoA I believe.
The Mordenkainen's Sword the Gith summoned dropped it because it was not marked as 'undropable' as it should be. This amulet was it that made the sword immune to all mind affecting spells etc..
Either a patch or Baldurdash fixed it.
There are three kinds of people that no one understands: geniuses, madmen and guys that mumble.

The Giths never even summoned a Mordenkainen's Sword, so I guess I never really gave myself a chance to find the amulet. But as I know I have the latest patches, and I believe I have the FixPacks, I guess it wouldn't have dropped anyway. Thanks, Nephtu and Numinor.

Doh!

NUminor is, of course, correct. I was thinking about that pesky little gnome....
