You would probably have to be at least 25+ to "get it". Its a reference to some popular icons in the 1980's. If you don't live in either the US or Canada though you've probably never heard of them. Hence why they say to you in game something like "I told you they were of the wrong generation".
Its just an easter egg really. Theres nothing you can do with their autograph.

The 80's "popular icons" were bit players on the Bob Newhart show. Local color, one might say. Not his original show where he was a pychiatrist but his second show series where he owned a small hotel in New England. Larry, Daryl and Daryl were three backwoods, semi-moronic, locals that always had something stupid to say. Very much in the spirit of all the irritating country folks on the Green Acres show. Boy, those were the days of some really fine comedy television entertainment: Green Acres, Bob Newhart, Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Juction, I Dream of Jeanie, Bewitched, Giligan's Island ... you younger whippersnappers can still see them on Nick at Night. But then I still remember the Little Rascals, Three Stooges and Bowry Boys. Now that really dates me.
