Am I screwed?

Post by shvarz »

In Vienne I left Orsi without taking the chains to bind Luther Black. Now I got to him but have nothing to bind him with. I don't have any saves left for the time before I went throught the hidden door in the clock. If I try to trace my steps back to the door, it is closed. What can I do here? Am I totally screwed and have to start the whole game from scratch?

Please help.

I believe the chains are mandatory. You should still have the option to not help him/bind him, but it's been a while since I've played through.

If worse comes to worse, you should be able to spawn the shackles in with the console. (of which you'll have to do a bit of a search for the console commands)

those shackles are put in your 'quest inventory' ... you don't actually carry them around with you in your inventory ...

basically, if you can't reach him, there's something you haven't done yet ... have you tried just talking to him?

Ah, I seem to have been corrected on the matter. Thanks. It's been sometime since I've played the game. I should give it another run through, I think... Now, to find my copy of it... hope I didn't sell it off
