2 questions - HeartShield and mez resistance

Post by StarBorn »

Hi everyone ...

I hope someone is still reading this forum.

I recently started playing Vampire again (I never even got to London last time 'round), and I must say I'm enjoying myself immensely.

There are just 2 things:

Where can I find the HeartShield? I'm assuming it's in the 'Old World' as it's magic, but where can I find it? I tried searching the walkthrough for it, but couldn't find it, and the item description doesn't list where to find it, just the stats. I'd really like to know where it is, so I can get it for my possible next time 'round.

2nd question is, if there's anything I can do to reduce the chance of me getting mezzed? Yep, i'm in the settite temple, and it's getting annoying that they keep on mezzing me ... I'm used to slashing and hacking with my wee sword (guess which? :p )

thx in advance for any reply! I'm gonna check in often enough and hope for a reply soon :)

Oh and another question ...

if I play the game through again, I might consider doing a ranged attacker or a magus ... any stats I can raise to make myself better here? (For instance dex for increased accuracy etc)

The heart shield, I believe, is in Vienna, when you got see Luthar Black, in his clock tower. I can't remember exact location, but I'm pretty sure that's where it is.

To avoid getting Mezzed, the will power stat is the best idea I can come up with. Higher will, less chance of being stunned/dominated/etc.

For stats of a ranged and magus type: Dex for range, Int/cha/will for magus.

Excelent. Thanks a lot. I'll get right on that willpower thing, and save the heartshield for the next game :)
