I didn't have any problems finishing the quest. The problem was getting Caius Cosades to accept that I had finnished it. So, I thought I might have done something wrong and went back to the camp to see the wise woman again. I have eveything in my journal up dated. And he still will not go to the next quest. I really don't want to have to start the whole game over. But...if I can't go anywhere else with the main quests I'm going to have to. If anyone can help, I would be most

i feel ur pain i am even further than u and the game wont let me duel a certain perosn in the arena 4 the main quest... i am lvl 52 ohhhh the pain!!

There are a couple of alternative ways to finish the game. Neither of your predicaments seem unsurmountable even if you can't finish those quests.

You should start a new thread rather than posting an off-topic question to an ongoing thread. You'll get more responses that way. But since you asked, check your stats, you probably have a bounty on you. If you have a bounty its because you killed someone who didn't attack you first or you got caught stealing.

I read ahead about that quest before I embarked on it - and I read that the trick was to get all their dispositions high, of every Ashlander you meet and you had to ask both Sul-Matuul AND the wise-woman, *every* single possible question on each topic for the quest to work. Apparently, even missing one topic question, can fail the quest.

I did that - *twice* on each character, and even wrote down all the topics in the speaking windows and ticked them off as my journal updated for each one, like each one of the Seven Trials.

So it went like this for me and worked:

1. arriving at the camp at first, remember the "notes" on how to treat Ashlanders with courtesy. Offer "a thoughtful gift" all the time - I think food items like kwama eggs might be good enough, but I bribed with money

2. Talk to someone beginning with a Z (I think) inside their tent, again use "a thoughtful gift" to get their disposition up.

3. When this Z guy liked me enough he sent me to Sul Matuul, when again offered "a thoughtful gift" and asked every single question thats possible from the speaking windows.

4. Got the quest to get the Bonebiter Bow to prove myself a "clan-friend".

5. Return to Sul-Matuul with the Bonebiter Bow and again, I asked every single question possible from the speaking window. (I double-checked that I had asked *everything* possible!)

6. Once I was finally named "clan-friend" by Sul-Matuul, and he lets me keep the Bow, he then sent me to the wise-woman's tent - again, I offerred a "thoughtful gift" to her.

7. She asks if you want information or to be *tested* - I left asking about the testing, until I had asked every single other question possible in the speaking window, not once - but twice just to make sure!

8. Finally when I felt I had asked everything possible about information, and my journal was updated about 6 or more times....*then* I asked her about the *testing*, and again made sure I had asked every single one possible and double-checked with my own written-down list.

but as others have said - there are work-arounds even if you fail one of the early quests, you can continue the main quest and complete the game.

How ?

Would someone please tell me how to get past a main quest that Cosades says I haven't finnished. I have tryed everything I've been told and that I can think of. My journal has all the up dates and says it's time to talk to him. I don't want to quit playing and don't want to start over. How can I get him to give me the next main quest?
and thanx to everyone that gave me things to try to get though it.
