i've read about a bug with the RDD being it recognized a 10 lvl RDD as illegal. i would like to know if this "illegal status" is only applicable in multiplayer, or does it affect single player as well, like i cannot go to the next chapter in the OCs (like chapter 1 to 2 in SOU) or i cannot save and import the character (like a 10RDD that completed SOU into chapter 1 of HOTU say)?
that aside, i would also comments on the following builds in general:
paladin(2)/sorceror(x)/RDD(10) vs paladin(5)/sorceror(x)/CoT(7)
i've seen many posts on the former build, and it seems pretty cool, but none of the latter build (not treid searching for it yet though) the numbers are a rough estimate, so give a plus minus 2 levels for the CoT and a plus minus 1 for paladin levels.
this is going for the age-old warrior-mage build, and i would like to plan the char as best i could before trying it halfway n deciding it didn't really work out because i didn't put enough thought in to it.
thx.

You can use the console commands (GiveXP when debugmode is enabled) to give yourself enough XP to become a level 10 DD and then try messing around with the character (export, import into SoU/HotU and such).
Would be good to know if there was an illigal character bug for sure

from the forums at bioware, the bug with the RDD is that the CHA bonus at RDD lvl 10, is not recognized as a legal bonus, and thus, causes the character to be viewed by the program as hacked. this problem, supposedly is not fixed and will be addressed in the next patch; 1.62, currently still a beta.
i wanted to get RDD lvl 10 soon and do not want beta patches (ok, so sue me for not wanting to meddle with my pc too much with all this pathcing/unpacthing stuff..)
but it seems that everything is going ok... that's good to hear.
oh, and another thing, supposed i take up a sorceror/pale master, now i know that at odd lvls the pale master get spells per day, but no new spells. now with the sorceror, u get new spells only with new levels. how does such a build handle this? a wizard is no prob since he can practically learn every single spell he wants, but the sorceror, is tricky. does he just forfiet the the 5 lvls of new spells, or does he get these new spells on his 15-20 lvls, but wihtout additional spells per day?
