Romances

I've added a number of mods onto BG2 and one of the extras is the possibility of having concurrent romances. At the moment I have Viconia and Jaheira on the go. However, both of them wont move about after a certain part of jaheiras romance.(after I kill Dermin and then sleep). It's a bit annoying, but i was wondering if anybody knew how to shut off a romance once it has been going awhile? I tried being rude to viconia but it doesnt work. Can you use the CLUA console to do it?

This bug is caused by the multiromance patch. Stop using it.

The problem is that i'm not sure what gave me that ability. none of the mods I installed said I could have a multi-romance. Mods I installed are: TDD + patch, baldurdash fixpack, freedoms reign, reign of virtue, dark ritual, and banter pack.

I believe TDD includes a multi-romance script.

You really need to avoid TDD, or at least TDD with Viconia, next time. I believe it's her script that (tragically) has the buggy multiromance code in it.

Thanks for the useful advice. In the end I decided to ditch Jaheira, since I always romance her, and decided to pursue viconia.
I do have a new question now, though, since I'm unfamiliar with this romance. I've completeed SOA and the romance didn't end well. I managed to convince her to stay, so I have a romance active value of 2. Does the romance continue at all in TOB? I've just started and she doesn't say anything. When I go through with Jaheira she is as chatty as anything right from the start. If the romance does continue, when does it start, and what conditions do you need?

When I continued my romance with Aerie, it started again in TOB pretty soo. But you MUST import your old PARTY not just protagonist.
