multiclass levelups

Post by Curry »

I decided to play with a multiclass but I got confused. When I levelup do I always get the HPs I should get if I play with a single class char? I mean since there are two classes I should get total a **** load of HP?
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

When you level up as a multi-class character, you gain half the hp you would have earned as this class :

IE :

Warrior / thief :

Warrior lvl up = 1d10 / 2
Thief lvl up = 1d6 / 2
Lonely Ranger

Remember you can also get partial bonuses for Constitution. So a fighter with 18 Const, would get +4 HP/lvl. This would give you 1D5+2/lvl with multiclass instead of 1D10 +4. If you're hoping to reload until you get max HP, remember these few extra HP from the Con bonus.
