FERMOSA quest, help please

I have freed the funny elf like creature after I got the key from (I think his name is) Meldem (the wizzard guy). I told him to give me the key and I will not kill him, he gave me the key and dissapeard. I went back to Fermosa and showed her the key, she asked me if I would kill him, and I told her yes, when I went back to kill him he still was not there, I looked every where. Please tell me where I can find him. Ps the quest to kill him shows in my journal so it must be posible.

I don't think you'll be getting a second shot. You have made your choice of sparing him when you had the chance, and he has ran off. If you really wanted to kill him, you should have done it the first time around. The quest will naturally show up (as all uptaken quests) and it will probably show until the end of the chapter. I don't see much you can do, except maybe spawning him from console level and killing him then. Not sure if that would work, though.

If you let him go, you should be able to return and say that you will not kill him.
