NPC sode-quests (Major Plot Spoilers!)
NPC sode-quests (Spoilers)
I was just trying to get a list for myself how to trigger NPC sidequests and where to start them. Anyone care to correct me, and fill in some blank spots?
Bastilla
Talk with here untill she mentioned here mother
Triggerd on Dantooine
Mission
Talk with here untill she mentioned here brother
Triggerd on Dantooine
Zaalbar
Go to Kashyyyk
Jolee
Triggered on Manaan, dont think you need to talk to him
HK
Repair him a couple of times
(or is there more)
Can someone fill me in about Canderous, Juhani, Carth and T3?
And the walktrough mentioned something about NOT triggering Juhani's quest untill the end. Is this correct? and if so can someone explain it more specific?

I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.
The quests can be triggered on any planet except the one that they take place on (i.e. you can't trigger Bastilla's or Canderous' quests on Tatooine, for example; I have my doubts about Kashyyyk, but this is unconfirmed). The prerequisites are talking to them enough for them to mention certain things in their conversation, and having that certain member in your party when you step out of the Ebon Hawk at a trigger location (any spaceport or the whereabouts - on Manaan, for example, it's a corridor a bit farther down from the landing site).
Bastilla
Correct.
Mission
Has to mention Griff and the fact that he ran off with Lena.
Zaalbar
Not much of a personal sidequest, but correct.
Jolee
Same as above (you can still get the trial without Jolee), but correct.
HK
Don't remember the amount of times, but the first repair requires a repair of 10 and the last of 17, if I remember correctly. Kind of steep, and doesn't matter much, because he'll fix himself at one point later in the game (his functions will become unblocked once he finds out you're Revan).
Canderous
Listen to enough war stories of his, until he tells you how he saw an opportunity and took it, winning a battle, but sacrificing many soldiers. Then, in a trigger place (around a spaceport except Tatooine), a mandalorian called Jagi will approach and issue a challenge.
Carth
Has to mention his dead wife and his missing son, Dustil. Once he does, you can find him on Korriban, in the academy, but only after talking to some guy in a trigger place other than Korriban.
Juhani
Talk to her enough for her to mention that she and her parents were slaves. Once you do, a Twi'lek (named Xan, I believe) will approach, but you can make him leave easily. Sometime later, on another planet, he will attack you with two thughs - very easily dispatched. I haven't heard of any reason to leave this quest for later. And you can't have Juhani turn back to the dark side either (something the dialogue and her action if you choose a certain combination would suggest).
T3
No quest for the little dude.
Bastilla
Correct.

You mean you are Revan?

There's a reason threads are marked spoilers or very heavy spoilers (though the reason for the latter, I'm guessing, is your post). The best thing I can recommend to you (which I do myself) is don't even visit the forums until you finish the game on your own for the first time.Originally posted by Fuwex

Actually, you can trigger side quests on the planet they happen on. At least with Bastila. As I was leaving Tatooine docks, I had Bastila and Juhani with me and got the Twi'lek to come up to me. The dialog changed a little as she said the Helena was "right here on Tatooine, dear" but the quest was unchanged. I've gotten Juhani's quest a couple of times on Manaan, too.
The only reason for Juhani being late in the game is it requires a lot of dialog to get to it. So you have to stay on top of the conversations, talk to her each and every time you level up.
Xor is a Twi'lek on the PC? On the XBOX, he's a Mandalorian who was wounded in battle and hunted male Cathar for sport, collecting the females for slaves, called them "playthings". He always attacks at Manaan port right at the Ebon Hawk, at least on the XBOX.

They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. And they gathered them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Har-Maged'on - Revelations 16:14,16
The Wheel Of Time turns and Ages come and go. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under Shadow. Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time.

Yes, he's a Twi'Lek slaver (the rest is the same, though, maybe except him being wounded in battle). He also has a connection to Juhani (he had killed her father and enslaved her mother, if memory serves). He appears and attacks on random planets, not only Manaan.
And in the PC version, triggering quests on planets they happen on just doesn't work.

according to the walkthru, most ofthe quest can be triggered on Datoonie....provided you haven't found the 3rd starmap. after which datonnie will be overrun.
this is my third time, and i dun think i am going to bother with the side quests much. there are more than enuff experience to reach level 20 anyway.

Weird. I tried several times (playing the game three times and always doing all side quests) and not once did I trigger a quest on the planet it was taking place on.Originally posted by Armisael
As I've said before, I've triggered the NPCs for Bastilla's mother and Mission's brother both on Tattooine. This is with the PC version.

i killed juhani, will a jedi belana take her place instead?
since this thread is all about NPC side quests...
while on dantooine, i wanted to have as much dark points as i could possibly have. i killed juhani in the process. another jedi, juhani's friend, belana left the enclave. i just can't seem to find her anywhere.
will belana take her place instead as a future party member? if so, where can i find her after she left the enclave?

You can find her at the Sith Academy on Korriban, but no, she won't join you (as I stated in your other thread).
